Happy Holidays NAPMW Members and Friends! 

This year NAPMW has decided to adopt 3 local families in need for the Holidays. As always, we would like to share their stories with you and ask for your generosity & support for this Christmas Season. In lieu of the ornaments this year, please see our Adopt a Family spreadsheet of the children's likes and needs.  To help donate please call any one of the Committee Members to sign up to donate a gift/s. We ask that you please deliver your wrapped gift to one of the offices listed below by Dec. 14th.  You can also call any of the committee members listed below for pick up as well. 

Thank you once again for your generosity and support to this year's NAPMW Adopt a Family.  Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Holiday Season! Below is a little information about the 3 families:

1. Gonzalez family of 4 and one on the way lives in East Visalia.  The father of the family lost his job due to the virus outbreak and has been unable to find employment; he does side job work on cars to make a little money.  Erica, the mom, is busy with distance learning for Aiden, age 11 and Emily, age 6, and she’s currently pregnant.  The family has expressed how appreciative and grateful they are for our help.  

1. Lenard Family is a local Lemoore based Navy family. The husband enlisted in the military later in life to better provide for his family and has several competing priorities both personal and professional. The family lost their grandmother to covid recently as well. The wife cares for their daughter Ma’Kyiah age 11, daughter Ma’Zariah age 9,  son Heinz age 7 and pregnant with a baby on the way! They are grateful for any assistance this Christmas Season.  

1. Garcia Family, single mom of 5 is from Tulare.  The children range from 16 yrs to 11 months old.  The family recently became homeless as they lost everything they own in a house fire this past fall.  Prior to being displaced, mom had experienced a high risk pregnancy which led to an emergency cesarean last Thanksgiving.  Baby Penelope was born 3 months premature, weighing 2 lbs 5 oz and was hospitalized for 2 1/2 months in NICU at Fresno Regional.  During that time mom had to commute to Fresno daily for feedings & baby bonding. The family has endured a rollercoaster of tragic events and financial hardship within this year and have yet to get back on their feet as they are still displaced and living with family members.  Mom has expressed how the kindness of strangers has lifted so much weight off her shoulders and she will forever be grateful for the help her family receives this Christmas season.
